Hikitsu is one of the two Genbu seishi who were chosen to protect the shinzao.  He and Tomite protect it, but when the Suzaku seishi and their miko comes, the seishi try to attack them but all their attacks go right trough them and Hikitsu and Tomite tell them they died a long time ago...

He can control and manipulate ice. His symbol is literally on his eye so that's why he wears a patch.
