The Story
This is the story about a 15 year old girl named Miaka Yuuki, and her friend Yui....
One day Yui and Miaka were walking home from school, then Yui asked Miaka if she wanted to come to The National Library with her. They both go there and Yui goes to drop off her books and Miaka tells her not to take too long. Miaka sees a drink machine a few seconds later, and runs over there. As she goes to put a coin in the machine the coin falls. She goes to pick it up but as she bends down she sees a red pheonix behind her then it flies down the hall and she follows it untill she reaches the "Important Documents Room" were the bird dissapears.
Miaka opens the door, just then Yui shows up behind her. Just then a book falls from the shelf in the Important Documents room. They both go in and pick up the book then sit down and begin to read it....(The book is called "The Universe of Four Gods") It reads, "Thus, the girl of the legend opened the door to another world. This is the story of a girl who gathered the Seven Seishi of Suzaku. She obtained omniptent power, and made her every wish come true. The story itself is an incantation. Whoever finishes reading it will receave the main character's power. As soon as the page is turned the story will become the truth and begin"
As they wonder what that means, a red light luminates from the book and Miaka and Yui find themselves in a strange world. Miaka starts complaining on how there are no cheeseburgers here. Just then a group of traffickers ( they are men who sell woman ) grabs Yui. Miaka tries to save Yui but then she gets caught too. But before anything happens....a man with a chinese character of an "orge" on his forehead comes and kicks the crap out of the traffickers. As he does the two girls are on the side and are watching in amazment. The traffickers run away before they get hurt more. Then the man walks over to Miaka and Yui and ask if they are okay. Yui says they are. Then the man asks them to pay him, realizing they have no money the man walks off and says he hates poor people.
Yui runs after him, but then she dissapears in the red light once again. Miaka manages to find some money to pay him, but she realizes both him and yui are gone. Yui finds herself back at the library with the book in front of her. She reads it and its exactly what just happened to her and Miaka! She sees an drawing of the man with the "orge" on his forehead and realizes its not a dream...
And this is where the story begins...
