Hotohori is the emporer of Konan. He is very noble and kind (and good looking!). When he was young he imagined who he would love when he got older, and he imagined it would be the Suzaku no miko. And when he met Miaka, she was exactly what he was dreaming of. Hotohori is in love with Miaka, and does all he can to protect her and make her happy, but realizes she will never love him, even though he realizes that he still continues loving her (now thats true love...) He knows that she is in love with Tamahome and not him.

Besides all that love stuff is beauty! His famous line is so funny. " I'm so beautiful, i scare myself" lol. But its true he is hot! A lot better looking then the emporer of Kutou! (he looks like an old hag!)
